KIDS ADVENTURE OLYMPICS
The main aim of the project is to build the capacity of the participating organisations to work transnationally in the field of sport, while promoting EU values through sport and other related sectors such as education and protection of the environment. The specific objective is to introduce a sustainable format for transnational collaboration- an Olympic-style event adapted for kids (recreation of the ancient Olympic Games), promoting sport as a tool for health and education, as well as a way to take responsibility for the environment.
The main activities include:
- Sport activities for all- grassroots (children aged 6-12) and disadvantaged groups
- Educational workshops promoting integrity and values in sport
- Innovative physical activity alongside green initiatives that encourage eco-friendly behavior and attitudes
Sustainable results:
- Creating a format for transnational cooperation and exchange of innovative practices, bringing the European dimension to the local level
- Developing the capacities of partnering organizations to work transnationally in the sports domain and across other sectors
- Promoting common EU values, especially the inclusion of disadvantaged, integrity and values in sport and green aspects
